Monthly Meeting, Business Updates and Breakfast.
The regular monthly meeting of the Groton Business Association (GBA) of the Greater Mystic Chamber of Commerce will be held on Thursday, November 19, 2009 at 7:30 a.m. at the Ella T. Grasso Southeastern Technical School on 189 Fort Hill Road. A meeting agenda will be e-mailed the week of November 16th.
This is the last regularly scheduled monthly meeting of the GBA for 2009. Please make every effort to attend. This is a good opportunity for you to meet and greet our new leadership team. Jim Bates has agreed to serve as GBA Chairman and Charlie Vigorita as GBA Vice Chairman. We appreciate their commitment as we go forward to maintain our efforts for Greater Groton businesses and the community at large.
We hope all GBA members will commit themselves to making the GBA an even better organization in the year ahead. Our Association works because of people like you who volunteer and work diligently to make our projects and events successful.
The GBA is and has become a coalition of representatives from the business, educational, governmental, and the non-profit sectors of our community. This helps substantially in creating the team work necessary to meet our yearly goals.
We thank you for the privilege and honor of having served the GBA as co-chairs for the past few years. We will continue to be part of the GBA team. We ask everyone to support the new GBA leadership as you have supported us so generously and energetically in the years past.
