Greater Mystic Chamber of Commerce Seeks Volunteers
The Greater Mystic Chamber of Commerce is in need of volunteers to provide a variety of tasks in the office and help with daily responsibilities.
Basic Functions: Provides administrative and clerical support to the President and staff. Support the organization’s mission, vision, and values by exhibiting the following behaviors: excellence and competence, collaboration, innovation, respect personalization, commitment to our community, and accountability.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Answers phone for President and staff, and take messages or field/answer all routine and non-routine questions.
Sorts through mail and delivers mail to the Post Office daily.
Assist with signups, check-in and reconciliation for chamber programs and events.
Assist with organizing Chamber calendars such as conference room, LCD Projector and sound system.
Assist with the Mystic Dollars Program.
Assist with maintaining organization and cleanliness of office space and environment to promote efficiency and team work.
Assist with purchasing and maintaining inventory of company supplies, business cards, letterhead, and order and obtains other office supplies as needed.
Provide administrative support in a variety of capacities including: direct mailing, special events, meeting planning, database management, business after hours and business before hours, and assisting with completion of specially assigned projects.
Deliver posters to downtown and area businesses
Assists with coordinating volunteers for events
Write out Thank you notes after events
Assist with Mailings and membership packets
Assist with entering information into database
